Happy winterdays!

At the top of this page you can see, what it looks around here nowadays, very winterly;) That was one of the reasons I choose to make this weeks Kwerner Color Challence Card with the snowmen, the other one was the bright idea to knit something to one snowman, immediately, I saw the wonderful picture, wich Kristina had in the challence this week!

Pale plum, perfect plum, bordering blue, sage shadow and certainly celery were the colors to use plus some neutral. I knitted something around snowmans neck with the plums, stamped on certainly celery cardstock with bordering blue three snowmen and sentinent "Happy Christmas!" (in finnish). I admire the way Kristina uses ribbons and they look so nice, thats why I took a ribbon from my boxes and added it here. I covered white pastelpaper with acrylic paint Frosty, cut three cirkles with spellbinders, coloured edges with bordering blue and "built" him with 3D pads. The snowflakes in heaven are stamped with Magnolia snowflake and sage shadow. Then little something to the face and body with plums, thats it.

StampARTic #2

This Color inspiration card have to be my card to StampARTics 2nd challenge, because my camera and my computer dont like eachother right now. Normaly I'd liked to make another card (wich is on work) because thats what challenges are for, don't they?

Kwernerdesign-challence for this week was to make a card with these colors, and this is what I made:

2119399.jpg

I used brown cardstock and stamped it with my awesome souvenir from visit to Sweden, Stockholm, earlier this week. This stamp is german and I think the designer is Judi Kins. Ink pad was Brilliance Moonlight white. Flowers I had punched with daisy punches earlier, now I put them together with dimensionals and used gluedots to the card. Added a little glitter into the middle of each. I tried to make a "seamans" knot with an old thread on the left.

I like this card wery nuch, hope you like it too. ( Once again, I'm sorry about the photo, it's dark here. )

What a lovely picture this is!

Of course one should make a christmas card, but my dearest friend is having her 60'th birthday soon and these colors are just perfect for her card, so here it is:

I used a cardstock near very vanilla, but it seems nearly right only in the upper side, sun didn't come and help me in taking pictures. One golden panel into and then I found a ribbon riding hood red, I hope.

The flowers I punched with Woodware Craft punch from white (+little bit of golden stamping ;)) and red, then curled them with my thumbernail, put a little golden metallic gel to each and glued them to a circle from acetat. I was supposed to use pads to some of them, but I forgot. Here is a picture of it little closer.

So, I hope you'll like this, I was pretty happy getting the card done allready. Thank You, Kristina!

Hi!

Here is my first ever challenge-card. I made it for two challenges, but the colours in the picture are so odd, that Kristina might not approve it.

  • Bottom Basill
  • Blue cardstock, wich I embossed with Cuttlebug
  • The ovals with Spellbinders
  • Stamp Magnolia with VersaMark
  • Embossing powder Whispers Seafoam white
  • The ribbon I've got as present

Hei!

Nauha joskus lahjaksi saatu.

Laitan tähän vielä toisen version, tuli mielestäni ihanampi, vaikka käytin poltetut tähdet ;)
